INTERCHANGEABLE PAYLOAD INTERFACE SYSTEM
There are three basic payload package interface systems designed to accommodate
universal payload packages.
- 'Gantry' Type - intended for the ro/ro 'top-lift' of standardized intermodal shipping containers.
- 'Drive-Through' - this is a 'bottom-lift' cargo deck, topped with a garage type of enclosure intended for
universal ro/ro truck and semi-trailer drop-off and pickup.
- 'Open Cargo Deck' - this is a 'bottom-lift' cargo deck
with no topside enclosure; intended for 'outsized'
payloads (not shown).
